This Privacy Policy describes how Satish Rao ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information you provide when you visit asksatishrao.com (the "Site") or join the advisor community.

When you fill in the community join form, we collect:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Mobile number (optional)

We also collect the page you submitted the form from, for internal tracking purposes only.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we and our third-party service providers may automatically collect:

  • Browser type, operating system, and device information
  • IP address and approximate geographic location
  • Pages visited, time spent, and referral source
  • Interactions with site content (scroll depth, clicks)

This information is collected through cookies and similar tracking technologies described in Section 4 below.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Process your community join request and add you to the TagMango advisor community
  • Send you community updates, resources, and direct communications from Satish Rao
  • Understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it
  • Measure the effectiveness of advertising (Meta Ads)
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may collect or process your data:

Google Analytics & Google Tag Manager

We use Google Analytics (via Google Tag Manager) to understand how visitors interact with the Site. Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data using cookies. Meta (Facebook) Ads

We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of advertising on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram). The Pixel may collect information about your interactions with the Site and match it with your Meta account. You can manage your ad preferences at facebook.com/ads/preferences. TagMango

When you join the advisor community, your name, email address, and mobile number are forwarded to TagMango, the platform we use to host the community. TagMango's collection and use of your data is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

Pabbly Connect

We use Pabbly Connect as an intermediary to route community join submissions to TagMango. Data passes through Pabbly's servers in transit. Pabbly does not retain your data beyond what is necessary for this routing function.

4. Cookies

We use the following types of cookies:

  • Analytics cookies — Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid, _gat) to understand Site usage. These are set only after the page loads and are not used to identify you personally.
  • Advertising cookies — Meta Pixel cookies (_fbp, _fbc) to measure ad campaign effectiveness.
  • Functional cookies — Session-level cookies required for the Site to function correctly. These expire when you close your browser.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Site.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal information you submit via the community join form for as long as your community membership is active, or as required by law. Analytics data collected via Google is retained according to Google's standard data retention settings. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Under applicable law, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Withdraw consent for communications at any time (by unsubscribing from community messages)

We take reasonable technical measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Site is intended for experienced financial advisors and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18.
